India's MNRE seeks equipment for Solar Energy Center in Gurgaon

To boost the use of Concentrating Solar Power Technologies (CSP), the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, is implementing a UNDP - GEF supported project on “Market Development & Promotion of Solar Concentrator based Process Heat Applications in India”.
To boost the use of Concentrating Solar Power Technologies (CSP), the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, is implementing a UNDP - GEF supported project on “Market Development & Promotion of Solar Concentrator based Process Heat Applications in India”.
The objective of the project is to promote and commercialize CSP for industrial process heat applications in India and facilitating the installation of 45,000 m2 of installed solar collector area by March 2017 through demonstration and replicated projects.
Developing test set ups for CSP at University of Pune and at Ministry’s Solar Energy Center, Gurgaon
Technical and Financial Proposals are invited for “procurement & supply of radiation & performance measuring instruments/equipment for establishment of test set ups for CSP at Solar Energy Center, Gurgaon & University of Pune, India” from interested bidders.
The bidder should have good knowledge of instruments/equipment to be procured for establishment of test set ups for CSP based systems. Preference will be given to those who have past experience in taking up such work, the Ministry notes.
An Evaluation Committee will be constituted to evaluate the proposals and recommend award of the supply and installation assignment.
