Da Nang striving to save 1.5% commercial electricity in 2015

Public communication plays a particular role in formulating a mindset of power saving in every customer. Therefore, the Power Company of Da Nang encourages the people to use power economically through the Fatherland Front where leaflets are distributed.

Right from the beginning of the year, the sole-propriator Da Nang Power Company Ltd. (Da Nang PC) has enhanced its power saving with practical solutions to accomplish the goal of 2,155 million kWh output with at least 1.5% of it as saving of commercial electricity.  

Public communication plays a particular role in formulating a mindset of power saving in every customer. Therefore, the Power Company of Da Nang encourages the people to use power economically through the Fatherland Front where leaflets are distributed.

 

Larger customers, with huge power consumption, are directly advised by the Company on site about the technical specifications and application of advanced technologies, optimum options for layout and operation of their production lines, relevant to the results of energy audits, so that they not only achieve the goal of reducing electricity costs, but also increase the productivity, promote their efficient business.

In 2015, Da Nang Power Company Ltd. will actively encourage their customers to respond to "Earth Hour 2015 Campaign". In addition, various mobile forms of public communication for power saving such as floats, bikes hung with banners, posters, to parade along on the main roads of the city will be  implemented.

Not being confined within the large-scale operations, Da Nang Power Company Ltd. also focuses on the communication with specific customers to advocate and disseminate for the methods of electricity saving. Specifically, Da Nang Power Company Ltd. launched the movement "Administrative offices accompanied with us in power-saving".

One of the power saving highlights in 2015 is the power-saving program in schools. At the same time, the company actively enhances communication with households to mobilize people to participate in the "Replacement of incandescent light bulbs with power-saving light bulbs."

Besides, Da Nang Power Company Ltd. changes its backward technological production lines to energy-saving technologies.

In 2015, the Company will be more active in activities for economical use of power, gradually to make it become a habit, a fair lifestyle, in the formation of daily and routine operations of the youth and people of Da Nang city.
