ENTECH HANOI 2025 Promotes the Development of the High-Performance, Energy-Efficient Technology and Equipment Market

On the morning of June 25, the Hanoi International Exhibition on Environmental and Energy Technology 2025 (ENTECH HANOI 2025) officially opened.
ENTECH HANOI 2025 contributes to the development of markets for high-performance, energy-efficient technologies and equipment, reduces environmental pollution, and promotes progress in the energy and environmental sectors.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Vo Nguyen Phong, Member of the Hanoi Party Committee and Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, stated: "The city has directed the Department of Industry and Trade to lead, in coordination with relevant departments, agencies, and local governments, the implementation of electricity and energy-saving measures in accordance with Decision No. 280/QĐ-TTg dated March 13, 2019 and Directive No. 20/CT-TTg dated June 8, 2023 of the Prime Minister. The goal is to maximize investment resources, improve the city’s power grid to meet electricity demand growth of 7.1%, reduce energy loss to below 3.6%, and save 2.2% of total power consumption—particularly ensuring a minimum 5% electricity saving for all government agencies, organizations, and enterprises—thereby ensuring a stable electricity supply for the city."

ENTECH HANOI 2025 is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency Association, the Korean Ministry of Environment, and the City of Busan, Korea.
The exhibition gathers over 200 businesses from countries and territories such as Vietnam, South Korea, China, the U.S., Malaysia, Taiwan, and Japan. Over 250 booths showcase the latest energy-saving technologies.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lam Giang, Director General of Innovation, Green Transition, and Industrial Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for ENTECH HANOI 2025.
As part of the event, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Hanoi People’s Committee, organized the "Vietnam Energy Transition Forum 2025".
ENTECH HANOI 2025 also features thematic seminars in collaboration with domestic and international partners. Topics include: Green Technology for Batteries, Accumulators, and Energy Storage – effective solutions for green transition and sustainable development; Green Industry Development 2025; and the Vietnam–Korea–China Business Exchange Forum, involving nearly 100 domestic and international companies. These activities offer a platform for enterprises to showcase technologies and products, and enable government and city agency experts to explore cutting-edge global energy storage technologies.
The fair includes a three-day product showcase by participating companies. These activities aim to increase outreach, inform policy development in energy and environmental technology, and elevate the role of the energy and environmental technology sector in contributing to sustainable socio-economic growth. The event also fosters international cooperation in research and technology development, facilitates technology transfer, attracts foreign capital, and supports enterprises through business networking, information exchange, investment promotion, and access to advanced energy-saving and pollution-reducing technologies.

ENTECH HANOI 2025 is expected to create a vibrant business environment and foster cooperation in the energy efficiency and environmental sectors, helping Hanoi’s and Vietnam’s enterprises access advanced, high-knowledge technology solutions and connect with cutting-edge global technologies, thereby encouraging technology transfer and business growth.
Having been organized 15 times, ENTECH HANOI has effectively raised awareness and driven action on energy conservation and environmental protection, as well as compliance with the Law on Energy Efficiency and Conservation, contributing to economic restructuring toward "Green" and sustainable growth.

ENTECH HANOI was first held in 2009. The fair focuses on introducing products and technologies in the field of Energy and Environment, attracting the attention and participation of domestic and international enterprises. Over the years, the fair has been assessed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade as the largest national fair in the field of energy and environment. ENTECH HANOI has been held 15 times and always brings businesses, visitors, researchers, scientists, practical and effective business opportunities, meetings, exchanges, research, and technology transfer. The fair has attracted 3,076 enterprises to exhibit with over 18,000 products and services; more than 1,390 agreements have been signed with a total contract value of over 212 million USD; more than 52 specialized seminars on energy and environment have been held. |
