On the morning of October 27, 2025, the training program "Strengthening sales and marketing capacity for energy efficiency equipment and solution suppliers" was held in Ho Chi Minh City.
On the morning of October 27, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, the training program “Strengthening sales and marketing capacity for energy efficiency equipment and solution suppliers” was organized under the framework of the Vietnam Scaling Up Energy Efficiency Project (VSUEE).
This program is an important activity under Component 2: Technical Assistance of the VSUEE Project, as part of the task “Assessment of energy efficiency (EE) equipment market, support to EE equipment suppliers on the market identification, business plan development, skill improvement for sales and taking care of customers after sales and awareness raising on the use of high efficiency equipments for IEs.”

Promoting the high-efficiency equipment market
In the context of an increasingly urgent demand for green transition and energy efficiency, enhancing the capacity of companies that provide energy efficiency equipment and solutions plays a crucial role in expanding the market and promoting the application of energy-saving technologies in industrial production.
This training program was developed to help enterprises strengthen their strategic planning, business development, and customer engagement capabilities—thereby contributing to the formation of a sustainable, high-performance equipment market in Vietnam.
The training focused on key topics that were systematically designed and closely aligned with the practical operations of businesses, including: Sale and markeing strategy and enterprise development; Fundamental marketing knowledge, marketing models, and the marketing mix; Market segmentation, target market selection, and brand positioning; Enhancing sales, communication, and persuasion skills, as well as building long-term customer relationships in the context of rapidly changing sales trends.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Anh, Energy expert and lead trainer of the program, delivered lectures and guided business concepts and sales/marketing strategies tailored for companies providing energy efficiency solutions and equipment.
In addition to theoretical lessons, the program incorporated group exercises and practical case discussions such as identifying business opportunities and challenges, analyzing competitors, assessing internal strengths and weaknesses, conducting SWOT and marketing mix analyses, and handling real-life customer service scenarios.
Strengthening capacity – Expanding market opportunities

Participants in the training program included sales and technical staff from energy efficiency equipment and solution suppliers.
Through this training, participating enterprises had the opportunity to enhance their competitiveness, strengthen strategic thinking, and develop a more professional corporate image in the eyes of industrial customers. The program also fostered stronger connections between EE solution/equipment providers and end-users of energy efficiency equipment, contributing to the formation of an energy efficiency ecosystem, an essential foundation for developing Vietnam’s green technology market.
With the support of the VSUEE Project, this training program not only aimed to build the capacity of enterprises but also served as a practical step in promoting innovation, spreading green business models, and developing a high-performance energy equipment market. Ultimately, it contributes to Vietnam’s national goals on energy efficiency, helping to realize the country’s commitments to emission reduction and sustainable development.
