In Hanoi on November 3, 2025, a capacity-building training program for energy efficiency equipment and solution providers was organized within the framework of the VSUEE Project.
On the morning of November 3, 2025, in Hanoi, the training program titled “Strengthening sales and marketing capacity for energy efficiency equipment and solution suppliers” was organized under the Vietnam Scaling Up Energy Efficiency Project (VSUEE).

In the context of Vietnam’s transition toward a low-carbon economy and a just energy transition, enterprises providing energy efficiency (EE) equipment and solutions are playing an increasingly important role in promoting technological innovation, improving energy performance, and reducing emissions in key industrial sectors, such as steel, cement, textiles, seafood processing, etc. These enterprises serve as a crucial link between advanced technologies and manufacturing companies, helping to transfer, apply, and scale up effective EE solutions. Through this, they enable businesses to reduce production costs, enhance competitiveness, and meet green standards across global supply chains.
Through training programs like this one, the VSUEE Project aims to strengthen the capacity of enterprises in the EE sector in strategic planning and business development, helping them expand markets, improve industrial customer outreach, and contribute actively to Vietnam’s national goals on energy efficiency.

The training program focuses on sales and marketing strategies for energy-saving solutions and equipment suppliers.
The training program was designed in a structured and practical manner, closely aligned with the business reality of EE solution providers. It focused on key topics such as: Business strategy and enterprise development; Fundamentals of marketing and marketing mix; Market segmentation, target market selection, and brand positioning; Sales, communication, persuasion, and post-sale customer care skills
In addition to theoretical sessions, the program also incorporated group exercises and case discussions, enabling participants to analyze business opportunities and challenges, assess competitors, identify internal strengths and weaknesses, design appropriate marketing strategies, and address real-life situations encountered during customer engagement.

Participants in the training course are technical and sales staff from energy efficiency equipment and solution suppliers.
Through these training programs, EE solution and equipment providers not only strengthen their competitiveness and strategic mindset, but also play a key role in shaping and expanding Vietnam’s energy efficiency ecosystem. The collaboration among equipment suppliers, industrial enterprises, financial institutions, and government agencies is considered essential for developing a green technology market, advancing green growth, and sustainable economy development.
The training program is part of Component 2: Technical Assistance under the VSUEE Project, within the activity titled “Assessment of the Energy Efficiency Equipment Market and Support for Equipment Providers in Market Identification, Business Planning, Sales, and Customer Service Enhancement.” Through such initiatives, the VSUEE Project supports EE solution and equipment providers in strengthening their participation in the EE equipment market across industrial and other sectors, while raising awareness among industrial enterprises on the adoption of high-efficiency equipment.
