Launch of energy manager training courses (May) in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City

Within the framework of the National Program on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy for the 2019 - 2030 period, the Agency for Innovation, Green Transition and Industry Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade), in coordination with Vietnam Technological Solutions Joint Stock Company (VETS|EnE), is organizing Energy Manager Training Course.
The course is designed to meet the mandatory requirements for appointing Energy Managers at designated facilities. It aims to update current legal regulations, provide in-depth knowledge, and offer practical skills in energy management, while enhancing capacity for optimizing energy and production costs.
Time and venue
- Hanoi: From May 11 to May 15, 2026
- Ho Chi Minh City: From May 18 to May 22, 2026
Key highlights of the training
- Legal knowledge regarding economical and efficient use of energy;
- Energy-saving technologies, equipment, and solutions;
- Methodologies for establishing and operating energy management systems;
- Procedures for developing, implementing, and monitoring energy use plans;
- Management and operation of measurement, data collection, and analysis systems;
- Reporting methods and coordination mechanisms with regulatory authorities.
Participating in the training course, trainees will be trained according to the standard curriculum of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, with a team of lecturers who are leading experts in the energy field from the Agency for Innovation, Green Transition and Industry Promotion, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Electric Power University, and VETS|EnE, etc.
Upon completion of the course and successful passing of the examination, trainees will be awarded the "Energy Manager Certificate" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, valid nationwide.
