According to information from the British Embassy, from November 22th to 26th, a trade mission of the Energy Industries Corporation of the UK (EIC) will come to Vietnam to explore investment opportunities in the oil industry.
The delegation includes manufacturers and service providers of the UK such as Coates Offshore, DHL Global Forwarding, Industrial Projects, HMT, Howden Compressors, London Offshore Consultants Ltd, RPV Group (RP Valves Ltd), Safehouse Habitats (Scotland) Ltd., Survival Craft Inspectorate, Tyco Electronics, Vector International, Worldwide Marine Technology Ltd. and representatives of EIC in Asia - Pacific.

In HCM city, representatives of companies will have meeting with PetroVietnam and companies which were already established and operating in Vietnam market such as Chevron, Conoco Phillips, JVPC and Worley Parsons. The delegation will also visit and work with companies operating in the field of oil and gas in Vung Tau.
UK companies possess valuable skills and advanced technologies which are appropriate to Vietnam's market, so this is the most suitable time for companies to invest in business opportunities in this market . All delegates believe that they can contribute to increasing the performance and cost efficiency in the operation of oil and gas industry of Vietnam.
