No electric reduction in April 2011

Vietnam Electricity Group has assigned Power Corporations to direct power companies to perform power supply in April 2011 under the motto of no power reduction.

Besides, EVN has required Power Corporations to continue to closely monitor the daily load situation, report to the Group to assess the situation of power supply in April and report to the Ministry of Industry and Trade on power supply plans in May and June 2011.

Besides, Power Corporations shall promote the propagation of energy saving under Directive No. 171/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on strengthening the implementation of energy saving, Resolution No. 02/NQ-CP by the Government on major solutions to direct and manage the implementation of the 2011 socio-economic development plan and state budget estimate and Resolution No. 11.NQ-CP by the Government on solutions mainly focusing on containing inflation, stabilizing the macro economy, guaranteeing the social security; disseminate and boost the application of effective and well-implemented power saving models of the units.
