Da Nang: Save up to 3.6 million kWh of electricity

On 30th October, Da Nang Power Company Limited reviewed the program "Family saving power in 2012", which was implemented in 3 months from June to August.

Accordingly, 202,000 households in the city committed to participate into the emulation program to save electricity in three peak months of the dry season. At the end of the program, 12,079 households saved from 10% or more compared with the same period in 2011. Total electricity savings reached more than 3.6 million kWh.

Da Nang Power Company will organize a ceremony when 3,500 families having achieved the highest results in power savings will be awarded. The reward for winning families includes a certificate of "Typical saving family in 2012" and bonus of VND200,000/household.
