Accordingly, imported devices must be ensured to be properly labeled when the importers carry out customs clearance procedure; certificate issued by Ministry of Industry and Trade to the Customs Departments must be presented.

During the waiting period for being labeled or in energy efficiency tests of sample products, the dealer must hand in the confirmation of Ministry of Industry and Trade (General Department of Energy).

Imported products stated in the list of transport and technique should also be labeled before being launched into the Vietnamese market under the official document 51/2011/QĐ-TTg.

Minimum energy performance level and labeling will be implemented from January 1st, 2015.
