Electric Power University students respond to Earth Hour 60+

After the success of the Kick Off event in Hanoi (Feb 7th 2015), on March 8th 2015 at Electric Power University, an exchange campaign was held to respond to Earth Hour 2015.

Electric Power University students eager to answer questions of Earth Hour Ambassadors

Attending the event were representatives of Ministry of Industry and Trade, representatives of relevant units such as Danish Embassy in Vietnam; Vietnam Electricity Corporation and Daikin Vietnam. Two out of five ambassadors of the campaign were runner Thuy Van and singer - songwriter Ta Quang Thang.

The lively exchange with the participation of hundreds of students and the groups and clubs’ volunteers in Hanoi.

Besides funny entertainment, group games, recycled fashion repertory performances , Electric Power University has selected 10 most impressive works to exhibit and chose three outstanding masterpieces to be awarded in the poster design contest of  2015 Earth Hour Campaign launched by Ministry of Industry and Trade.

To finish the program, two ambassadors joined with more than 300 students and volunteers  to make puzzle 60+  EPU and together chanted 2015 Earth Hour campaign theme “Saving energy, adapting to climate change".

Responding to Earth Hour Campaign since 2009, Hanoi City is a pioneering unit with a lot of exciting and meaningful activities. After the event in Electric Power University, during March, the Organizers will hold Earth Hour Campaign 2015 responding activities in Hanoi-Amsterdam school (March 16th) Hanoi University of Industry (March 18th) and numerous community activities such as cycling, posters, leaflets and commitments  in response to the campaign.
