(Petrotimes) – In 2015 Quang Nam PC aims to save at least 1.5% of commercial electricity (equivalent to 16 million kWh).
This is a proactive initiative to combat with climate change. As predicted, prolonged drought will happen this year, greatly influencing the output of the whole industry. The initiative aims to ensure sufficient supply for the production, living and fight for drought.
PC Quang Nam organized power saving propaganda in Tam Ky City.
To achieve the above targets, PC Quang Nam has a series of measures; especially propaganda has always been at the forefront. For businesses, PC Quang Nam provided guidance, exploiting effective solutions to save energy, simultaneously, spreading various forms of propaganda for organizations, associations, villages, neighborhoods and households, such as visual communication, sharing common experience, etc.
Under the plan, in 2015 PC Quang Nam will hold 5 propaganda events with the theme of "Power saving week" in the province. Coordinating with other media agencies to open categories, sharing common experiences, guiding electricity-saving measures, awarding good examples of conducting energy savings. Mobilizing families to switch off unnecessary electrical equipment during the Earth Hour.
Reportedly, in 2014 PC Quang Nam had a positive propaganda, therefore contributed to the use of power-saving society, the province saved 24.98 million kWh, equivalent to 2.5% of commercial electricity.
