500 young people cycling, scavenging in a response to Earth Hour in Hanoi

This morning, on the roads of Hanoi, more than 500 young people, students and pupils were divided into 10 cycling teams on the streets of Hanoi in a response to 2015 Earth Hour campaign.

This morning, on the roads of Hanoi, more than 500 young people, students and pupils were divided into 10 cycling teams around the streets of Hanoi in a response to 2015 Earth Hour campaign.

At the stops such as parks, lakesides, volunteer groups organized to scavenge garbage, gave community propaganda leaflets  in a response to turning off the lights and unnecessary electrical appliances for one hour during the Earth Hour campaign launched by Hanoi  from 20h30 to 21h30 tonight.

According to statistics from the organizing committee, by the end of the March 21st , over 3,000 households, businesses and restaurants had committed to turn off the lights during the Earth Hour in Hanoi .
