Of May 15, 2015, Vinh Phuc Power Company in collaboration with the Phuc Yen Town  People's Committee held a ceremony to launch the program "Power Saving Family 2015". The program undergoes from now until the end of October 2015.

It is planned that 360 prizes will be awarded to households with the title "Power Saving Family" and "Typical Power Saving Family" with a budgeted total prize value of up to VND100 million.

To achieve the above mentioned title, the candidate households need to save at least 10% of power consumption compared with the same month in 2014 and they have put the power-saving devices into use, such as solar energy water heater, inverter air conditioning and power saving bulbs.

At the launching ceremony, the families representing thousands of households in Phuc Yen town signed in the program.

The program is expected to create positive change in the community to raise awareness in using electricity safely and efficiently.
