The Journalism Career Journal -  Ho Chi Minh City Journalist Association and the city Power Corporation held the evaluation review and the awarding for Cartoonists who participated in the  Cartoon Contest on Electricity Saving 2015.

After three months, the Contest organizer received 212 works from 100 country wide professional and amateur cartoonists.

The masterpieces in the contest reflect the facts and figures related to power-saving issues and  national energy security to highlight typical collective groups and individuals, those outstanding in good practice of power savings. All the works are in the form of caricatures, showing both lively and profound image-based messages.

The first prize belongs to Nguyen Thi Diep Thanh, a cartoonist of the Nghe An Labor Newspaper, Nghe An province with a masterpiece captioned with "Contrast". The two second prizes belong to author Nguyen Duc Tri, from Thua Thien Hue province with the works "More Increasing More Decreasing" and Nguyen Quang Phan from Hanoi with "Just So Power Saving".

In addition, the Organizing Board also awarded three third prizes and five consolation prizes for other outstanding works, with a total amount of VND105 million.
