Implementing the electricity-saving program of the Central Power Corporation 2015, Thua Thien Hue Power Company deployed one week public communication campaign for power saving - the third Session in 2015, during May 25-31, 2015.
Accordingly, the Company, in collaboration with the media such as local and central radio, newspapers and the authority to propagate the power-saving solution and policy with the contents specified in the Directive No. 171 of the Prime Minister and the Directive 09/CT-UBND of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee on strengthening the work of power saving.

The communication activities were carried out by floats with the 40 escorting motorcyclist groups of young people, carrying flags and leaflets parading in the main roads of Hue city, districts, towns, commercial centers and residential areas.
Besides, other activities also took place such as hanging banners, posters, flyers on city's main routes, and at the customers service offices of the electricity authority in order to raise public awareness in safe use, economical and efficient use of electricity in the local community.

For power savings communication in schools, by now 30 schools have been engaged under the proposed 2015 plan in the entire province.
At the moment, the emulation program is ongoing for electricity savings in the workplace, launched and performed by Thua Thien Hue Power Corporation in coordination with the Provincial Trade Union till the end of June 2015.
