Since the beginning of 2015, Tra Vinh Power Company saved 6.75 million kWh, achieving 44.02% of the planned assignment (15.33 million kWh), equivalent to VND9.9 billion.

The above results are attributed to good performance implemented by Tra Vinh Power Company in communication, advocacy activities with households, offices, units which also responded well to the power saving messages.

On the side of the business and production facilities, they are positive in application of various solutions, to reduce expenses and production costs, to improve profitability and income for the workers. Many effective power-saving models are promoted such as: Regulations for coordination with the mass organizations in communication about safe, economical, and efficient use of electricity; regulations on cooperation with the communication agency: newspapers, radios and electronic portals for the dissemination of massages on safety, electricity conservation of electricity and outage schedule.

Furthermore, Tra Vinh Power Company also organized promotional activities about safe, economical, and efficient use of electricity, in response to the annual Earth Hour, and deployment of the annual plan. Coordination with local authorities, departments and agencies involved in the advocacy and communication for power saving, thereby, helping household customers perceive properly the necessity for economical and efficient use of electricity.

In particular, the program "Hamlet of power saving culture" was launched and has been on-going for the past 3 years. It is well and positively responded by the people, achieving high effectiveness.
