According to the latest report titled "Economic Outlook" issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Vietnam is a country with the largest increase in the proportion of electricity generated from renewable energy in Southeast Asia.

However, Vietnam is still facing the challenges of green growth in the on-going transition from an agricultural economy to a commodity production economy. The huge flows of foreign investment capital will help increase the industrial yields in the medium term.
The report, "Economic Prospects of East Asia" was prepared by CEBR, a strategic partner of ICAEW and an economic forecaster. Commissioned by ICAEW, the report serves more than 144,000 of its members with a contemporary picture of the economic activities in the region.
