To ensure sufficient supply of electricity for daily life and production, the Electricity of Huong Khe, Ha Tinh has implemented several programs to practice power savings in a positive way. Electricity of Huong Khe organized communication campaign in the villages and residential areas bringing with it the 4 rules of righteousness: "Right moment - Right place - Right way and Right necessity", by hanging banners of messages of power saving in the offices and densely populated areas.

Additionally, Electricity of Huong Khe also makes announcements on TV and radio broadcasting system of the district. Through the system, it connects with wired radio stations in 22 communes and towns across the district to bring the messages of power savings to the people. At the same time, the Electricity of Huong Khe also organizes the program "school children joining hands in power saving" in Gia Pho Primary School; the Contest "power saving households 2015" and facilitates the commitment signing for electricity users who commit to economical and efficient use of energy.

Mr. Bui Quang Nhiem- Director of Electricity of Huong Khe said: "The deployment of many programs in electricity saving in the province has been responded positively by the majority of households and institutions, units, enterprises, factories in the province, as contribution to the efforts of the electricity sector to save energy, in order to ensure sufficient supply of electricity in the peak months of summer. Especially, the Electricity dispatched communicator teams to the schools in the area of the district ​​town to promote electricity savings. Incorporating the electricity saving massages in the schools' curriculum is one of practical and helpful activities to educate students to be conscious of the economical and efficient use of electricity right at the age of adolescents and juveniles. And in turn, they also become the best communicators in each family to remind their loved ones of power saving behavior and performance".

Currently, Electricity of Huong Khe continues the rehabilitation and upgrade of the rural system of low voltage grid in order to improve the quality of electricity supply, to enhance power usage checks, and counter-measures against power theft in order to reduce the rate of power loss.
