Hanoi People's Committee has recently issued Plan No. 136/KH-UBND, to realize the framework plan for period 2016- 2020 on information and communication project in nuclear power development in Vietnam to 2020.

Accordingly, in the period from now to 2020, the focal assignment of information dissemination and communication is to concentrate on successful implementation and to ensure the highest safety for Ninh Thuan nuclear power project and other would-be nuclear power projects.

In particular, depending on specific missions, the specialized agencies are assigned to prepare, design, edit the contents to fit in with information dissemination methods, relevant to the objects of the society, namely: all levels of management and staff of the Party and the State; the political and social organizations, unions, religious groups, intellectual class, scientists, students and pupils in the education and training establishments, and the people. The total cost for the comprehensive deployment of the plan is of nearly VND20 billion, of which, the central budget allocated for implementation in 2016 is proposed at over VND2.1 billion, and VND12.5 billion for the period 2017- 2020.
