The implementation of electricity-saving program in 2015 and the plan of power saving communication week - the 4th round in 2015 were deployed by Thua Thien Hue Power Corporation during June 22 -28, 2015.

Accordingly, the Company has realized the communication with various contents such as: collaborating with the media such as Thua Thien Hue Newspaper, Thua Thien Hue Radio and TV, and the Vietnam Television Centre in Hue to disseminate the guidelines and solutions for economical and efficient use of power in line with the Directive No. 171 of the Prime Minister and Directive 09/ CT-UBND of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee on the enhancement of power savings; broadcasting communication by mobile vehicles mounted with billboards, posters and loudspeakers to parade in the main streets of Hue city, urban centers of districts, towns and populated areas to spread the messages to the community for social response to the policies of the State on electricity savings; hanging the banners, posters, billboards along the streets, at the customer service points, in order to raise the public awareness about safe, economical and efficient use of electricity in the community and society.

Especially at this time, the electricity saving emulation in the workplace is on-going, coordinated by the Corporation with the provincial trade union of state employees. The program was launched in June and planned for implementation through December, 2015. The Corporation also coordinates with the Provincial Youth Union to install the lighting system in My An village, Phu Duong commune, Phu Vang district, with more than 900 meters of wiring line and 21 energy-saving bulbs, for lighting the village at night to ensure traffic safety for the local people.
