Technological innovation promises less power consumption

The survey conducted by the Department of Industry and Trade shows that to limit energy use, to reduce production costs, the commonly practiced and favourite solution in doing business in recent years is to calculate a reasonable process of power use and the application of less power consuming devices.

The results of annual inspection conducted by the Department of Industry and Trade also show that many energy consuming companies currently apply operation & maintenance procedures, regular maintenance for facilities and equipment in the production line against the power loss.

Power-saving solutions enhanced

To promote the effective implementation of energy saving programs, on an annual basis, the Provincial People's Committee has instructed its affiliated departments and agencies and Ba Ria- Vung Tau Power Company to deploy the public communication, to promote the safe use of electricity, power saving and efficiency; to replace the incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescent lights. The Power Units of districts and the city coordinate with mass organizations such as Women's Union, the Youth Union, the Veterans' Union to convey the message of electricity savings to each household.
