On September 1st, 2015 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Journalist Association, the National Program on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy - MOIT, Electricity of Vietnam worked on the final appraisal to award the press prize on "Communication to Raise Awareness in Economical and Efficient Use of Energy 2014".

Mr. Nguyen Ba Dung, Head of professional press division of Vietnam Journalists Association summarized the works selected for final appraisal
The communication press prize on "Communication to Raise Awareness in Economical and Efficient Use of Energy 2014" received a lot of entries with the broad participation of the press agencies all over the country. Through the preliminary appraisal, 45 works of 4 types of media: television (10 works), radio (8 works), electronic newspapers (13 articles) and newspapers (14 articles) had been selected to go forward to the final round.
The final result shows that 32 authors and groups have been selected for the award. Prize A has 4 works (each prize is awarded VND10 million); Prize B: 8 works (VND 7 million each); Prize C: 12 works (VND 5 million each) and 8 Consolation prizes (each prize is worth VND 2 million).
Assessing the quality of communication works this year, Mr. Ha Minh Hue, the chairman of the final appraisal council of Journalism Prize, says that the works cover the domains, the professions, the issues on energy saving. The final appraisal council received the articles, television reports, radio coverage news of professional quality and socially meaningful messages of communication to raise the awareness about economical and efficient use of energy. In particular, there are works which discover good practice and applicable models.
The awarding and closing ceremony for the Press prize on "Communication to Raise Awareness in Economical and Efficient Use of Energy 2014" is scheduled in early October 2015 in Da Nang city.
