For the purpose of supporting agencies and organizations to access policies and technology solutions to economical and efficient use of energy, gaining economic and environmental benefits, Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong held a seminar on “Energy-saving solutions for buildings”.

According to the statistics of Energy Conservation and Cleaner Production Center – Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade, the reality of power use in buildings is mainly reflected in some major systems such as Air-conditioning (48%), Lighting (16%), Lift (8%), Hot-water supply (8%), Feed-water pumping (7%), Office equipment (11%), and other systems (2%).

It can be seen that the energy consumption is overloaded and the impact of science on energy supply source is limited. To solve these problems, Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade also offered some solutions to economical and efficient use of energy, support mechanism and preferential policy to businesses to implement efficient energy exploitation and increase energy reservation sources.

Along with offered support mechanisms and policies, new technologies were also introduced in accordance with energy-saving solutions for buildings such as Energy management system for buildings, solutions to hot-water supply by air-heat energy. The conference also recommended central air-conditioning system for electric power saving and solutions to electric power management through an intelligent building control system on Smartphone of several technology companies such as Technology Investment Development and Trading Co., Ltd., Hoan Ngoc New Energy-Saving Technology Co., Ltd., JSC Conditioning Technology Sao Viet, Hoang Anh Environment and Technology Joint Stock Company.
