On September 18, 2015, Provincial Youth Union of Binh Phuoc and Department of Industry and Trade hold a conference on evaluation and summary of the Scheme of meeting organization about propaganda of energy saving in areas of Binh Phuoc province.

Mr. Ton Ngoc Hanh - Member of Provincial Committee and Secretary of Provincial Youth Union, Mrs. Tran Thi Hong – Deputy Director of Department of Industry and Trade and representatives of districts and towns in the province attended the conference.

Youth Union members were on parade of propaganda about energy saving

In order to implement the Scheme in 2015, Provincial Youth Union and Department of Industry and Trade held 4 meetings and parades of propaganda about energy saving in 4 districts – Chon Thanh, Hon Quan, Loc Ninh and Dong Phu. Over 2,100 Youth Union members were attracted by the activities of meetings. Coordinating with provincial Farmers Union, Binh Phuoc Power Company mobilized staff to join and repair electricity without charge for 400 poor households. Additionally, in order to propagandize energy saving, Binh Phuoc Power Company and branches of Power Company in 4 districts - Chon Thanh; Hon Quan; Loc Ninh and Dong Phu, also designed, printed and installed panels for propagandizing energy saving at administrative quarters in districts and on routes of Provincial Road 741 and Highway 14.

In 2016, Provincial Youth Union and Department of Industry and Trade will hold meetings about propagandizing about energy saving in 4 districts – Bu Dang, Bu Dop, Bu Gia Map and Phu Rieng continue to install around 2,000 panels for propagandizing energy saving on routes, in companies, schools and industrial zones, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Mrs. Ton Ngoc Hanh – Secretary of Provincial Youth Union emphasized that activities of propaganda about energy saving contributed to raising the awareness of members of Youth Union and people of energy saving, then bringing practically socio-economic benefits. To implement effciciently the Scheme in 2016, Binh Phuoc Provincial Youth Union and Department of Industry and Trade will continue to coordinate and organize effectively further practical activities in propagandizing energy saving, especially extend the scope of target audience of propaganda in companies such as youth workers; deliver contents of energy saving into documents for Youth Union Branch’s workshops.
