On September 22, 2015, Long An Power Company in collaboration with Long An Department of Industry and Trade held a workshop on economical and efficient use of energy in industrial production.

Mr. Doan Duc Hung, Deputy Director of Long An Power Company; Mr. Duong Van Hoang Hoanh, Deputy Director of Long An Department of Industry and Trade along with approximately 80 businesses having high electric consumption in the area of Ben Luc district attended the workshop.

The businesses particitpating in the workshop were introduced some regulations of the State on energy saving; Energy auditing procedure and energy-saving solutions for main systems and equipment in industrial production; Introduction to successful application model of energy-saving solutions and practical lessons; financial mechanism for energy saving by Ho Chi Minh Energy Conservation Center.

The businesses can directly adopt interim energy-saving solutions which are easy for implementation of their units such as change in lighting systems, transformation to use of energy-saving lights; remedy against leaks of air compressor systems, etc. to bring practical benefits without impacting on production and business activities.
