In the morning of October 18, 2015, in the Meeting Hall of People’s Committee of Ky Long Ward, School Cluster 2 (Department of Education and Training of Ky Anh Town), a competition for “Join hand for Education about Economical and Efficient Use of Energy” for Secondary schools in the school-year 2015-2016 was held.

 Organizing Committee awarded prizes for winning teams 

Mr. Tran Van Chung, Secretary of Party Executive Committee of Ky Long Ward, Head of Department of Education and Training, experts in charge of education levels and teachers, parents and students of secondary schools in the School cluster participated in the festival of competition.

The festival of competition has 5 teams; each team has 5 members including 2 teachers and 3 students. Rules and organization form of the festival of competition are implemented in accordance with general regulations of the festival of competition issued by Department of Education and Training.

The festival includes a test on knowledge of energy saving and exhibition on real products made from wastes and natural materials, which are lively and adequate for the theme of economical and efficient use of energy. 

This activity of Department of Education and Training of Ky Anh Town contributed to raising the awareness of management staff, teachers of secondary schools, parents, students and the community of the importance of economical and efficient use of energy; developing consciousness, skills and good habits of economical use of energy for students such as economical use of water, switching off devices if they are not used.
