In the implementation of Directive 03/CT-UBND dated January 28, 2008 and the Decision no.11/2008/QD-UBND dated March 24, 2008 of People's Committee promulgating the Program on Economical  and Efficient Use of Energy in Tien Giang province; the Thematic emulation "Electrical Safety" of the People's Committee of "Cho Gao" district as an annual assignment; the directive documents of the Party Committee, the People's Committee of "Dang Hung Phuoc" Commune had developed the plans to mobilize the officials  and people to participate in the Program on Economical  and Efficient Use of Energy in association with the implementation, construction of new rural social culture, to meet the new rural development criteria.

Accordingly, the commune has organized the (IEC) information-education-communication with messages on the loud speaker system of the communal radio station for an average of 100 transmissions/year, an estimated 3,000 listeners for each turn.

In addition, the local authorities also worked in combination with the Committee of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to hold public meetings at 9 hamlets, with an average number of 30 meetings/ year and more than 1,000 attendees in those meetings to call the people for awareness of energy saving and efficiency.

Not just only for those activities, the communal People's Committee also established inspection teams to check the electrical safety and to remind the people of power conservation in their agribusinesses, and services.

Through the guidance of the Party Committee, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and the mass organizations, the people have been shown the benefits of energy conservation, electricity savings in daily life, production, business and cultivation, thereby contributing to energy savings of the entire locality.
