On Jan 15^th, Tra On Power Company organized the review ceremony on the “Hamlet/Residential quarter of culture to save energy” program and launched the signing ceremony of the “2016 energy conservation program”, which aimed to honor and award individuals and groups with excellent performances in the energy efficiency sector.

During the past year, in order to effectively implement the “Hamlet/Residential quarter of culture to save energy” program Tra On Power Company obtained a variety of measures such as converting 10 poor homes to new compact lighting system and collaborating with the Department of Industry and Trade to inspect and reduce the intensity of public lighting by 50%.

Additionally, Tra On Power Company also propagated the energy efficiency activities, including display the energy savings billboards, enhance the enthusiastic participation of citizens in the Earth Hour campaign, distribute the documentaries to the organizations operating energy efficiency programs, and hold a series of the economical use of electricity lessons for secondary school students in local areas.

The “Hamlet/Residential quarter of culture to save energy” program in 2015 successfully drew the attention and participation of 169 households, which brought the impressive outcomes of 9.179 KWh of electricity saved, equivalent to VND13,621,636 million.

In addition to the awarding activity, Tra On Power launched the signing ceremony of the 2016 energy conservation program which will improve the public awareness of energy efficiency and boost the opportunities to optimize the use of energy.
