Bau Bang Power Company in Binh Duong province has celebrated a review ceremony and launched the Program 2016 "Cultural Hamlet of Power Savings" in the morning of the January 22nd, 2016. Among the attendants in the ceremony there was Mr. Le Thanh Tam, Vice Chairman of Bau Bang District People's Committee and leaders of district departments, and mass organizations.

In the past year, participating in the Program "Cultural Hamlet of Power Savings", there were 5,877 registered households in Bau Bang. As a result, the district has saved 894.655kWh electricity, equivalent to VND1.34 billion.

One hamlet and 18 individuals have been selected for their outstanding achievements in the movement of electricity savings and rewarded by Bau Bang District People's Committee

To gain the achievement, in the past year, Bau Bang Power Company spent VND4.5 billion to overhaul the electrical network, to invest in new low voltage lines, to separate 1,732 meters and to relocate 1,658 meters to places nearby the customer's house. Besides, Bau Bang district has also made investment into 3 projects to raise the total number of households using electricity, with a total workload of 15.9 km of medium voltage lines, 125.5 km of low voltage lines, 50 substations with a total capacity of 3,695 kVA, worth of total investment value of VND47 billion.

According to the results achieved in 2015, Bau Bang Power Company continues to launch the emulation with the Program "Cultural Hamlet of Power Savings" of 2016. Accordingly, the Bau Bang Power Company will further promote the communication to help individuals, groups, organizations, businesses with their active participation in the emulation, contributing to socio-economic development of Bau Bang district.
