The Customer Conference and the Power saving program Review in 2015 was held by Lao Cai Electric Power Company on January 26, 2016. The Conference was attended by the leaders of the Lao Cai Electric Power Company, representing the Department of Industry and Trade and various electricity consumers in the city.
In 2015, Electricity of Lao Cai implemented the program "Power Saving Family" in 6 wards with more than 7,000 families that registered to participate. This is a large-scale competition with simultaneous and widespread efforts to raise the awareness, to create habits and skills in economical and efficient use of power for each member of each family.

Four families identified with their outstanding efforts in power savings
As a result, the power saving in Lao Cai city in the past year reaches 2.95 million kWh, exceeding by 14.8% compared to the assigned plan. Specifically, 570 households attained the criteria of energy saving, and 30 households won the title “power saving family”.
In 2016, besides the planned efforts to complete and fulfill the production and business plans, the Electricity of Lao Cai will continue to promote and coordinate with agencies, industries, mass organizations and unions to deploy the program more extensively for power savings.
