The General Review Ceremony of "Power Saving Family" in 2015 was organized by Electricity of Thai Hoa Town, at the CultureHall of Tay Ho 1 residential block, Quang Tien Ward, Thai Hoa town, Nghe An province. Attending the meeting were leaders of Thai Hoa town; representatives of Nghe An Electricity Company and representatives of the prize winning households.

During the past year, Electricity of Thai Hoa launched an emulation “Power Saving Family” in coordination with Quang Tien Ward. The movement attracted 607 subscribed households. Besides, the organizers also distributed 800 manuals on power savings and 1,500 instruction leaflets containing written power-saving measures in order to further enhance the awareness of households on energy efficiency.

As shown in the outcome, after 6 months of implementation, 200 households had reduced their power consumptionby 8,554 kWh, equivalent to a saving of VND14 million. The monthly power consumption also decreased significantly compared to the same period of 2014.

On the occasion, the organizer also awarded the certificates "Typical Family of Power Savings in 2015" and prizes to 5 winning families, and the title "Power Saving Family" to 50 others.
