Tan Binh Power Company (PC), in collaboration with Tan Binh Women’s Union and Youth Union, held a meeting to summarize the results of “Power saving families Emulation 2015”. Attendants included Ms Pham Thi Thanh Man -  representative of Tan Binh Department for Propaganda and Education; delegates from Tan Binh PC’s director board and other governmental agencies as well as 734 typical power saving families. 

In the past year, with their determination and relentless effort, all staff of Tan Binh PC have actively encouraged local residents to take part in “Power saving families emulation”, organize training sessions for primary members; distribute leaflets and handbooks on using energy safely and efficiently at home. They also hang banners and stick posters to promote other dynamic activities. 

As a result, after 11 months implementation, the competition contributed to saving 24,752,618 KWh, equivalent to VND36.7 billion. Also on this occasion, the organizers has given “Power saving Family” prizes to 20 households. The total value came up to VND230.2 million.
