Van Ban Power Company, Lao Cai province recently held a conference to review the emulation "Power Saving Family" which had been launched in Khanh Yen town in 2015. The emulation attracted more than 240 clients who had registered to participate. The outcome shows that 60 families are qualified to meetthe criteria of power saving, of which 20 households are identified with the outstanding achievements by the Department of Industry and Trade, and commended by Lao Cai province authority. Reportedly, Van Ban Power Company will continue to expand the emulation "Power Saving Family" to all the communes and towns in the district in 2016.

Families with outstanding achievements in power saving 

Besides the emulation " Power Saving Family", the last year, Van Ban Power Company also held many activities such as demonstrative parade with messages to save electricity, visual artwork demonstration, advertisements, leaflets about safe and economical use of electricity. During the time, the company also held a bike parade in response to Earth Hour campaign, to promote this event on mass media and messaging to customers to join in and respond to this annual event.

Entering 2016, Van Ban Power Company will cooperate with agencies, sectors, mass organizations, unions and schools to develop plans for electricity efficiency. The company is also determined to strive to set up communication teams for dissemination and propagation of guidelines and policies of the State for power saving.
