In addition to reducing costs, saving power also helps protect the environment. Well aware of this, over the past years, cities and provinces across Vietnam have carried out ample practical activities to raise people’s awareness of energy efficiency. 

The Southern Power Corporation of the Electricity of Vietnam is working with Tien Giang Power Company and other departments to organize Power saving day 2016

Tien Giang Power Company (PC) is a typical unit that has actively implemented programs to promote energy saving among local residents. In particular, Tien Giang PC has organized “Power saving hamlets - Power saving families”, “Tien Giang Youth joins hands to save electricity”, which attracted a large number of participants.  

My Tho PC (under Tien Giang PC) held kick-off ceremony for "Power saving hamlets 2015" 

In 2016, Tien Giang Power will cooperate with other departments and agencies to organize “Power saving day 2016”. Opening ceremony will be held on 19th March 2016 in My Tho with 1,200 attendants. Other activities such as conference, power saving competition for primary school students will be organized also.
