On June 3rd 2016, Electricity of Phuc Yen Town, Vinh Phuc Province held a ceremony to launch the Emulation with the titled "Power Saving Family in 2016" participated by over 100 families representing 200,000 electricity clients in the province.
Accordingly, all of the domestic electricity users could participate in this program. The structure of 360 awards includes the award for "Power Saving Family” titled households, which is worth VND200,000/award attached with the "Power Saving Family” certificate, and 90 awards for “Typical Power Saving Family" which is worth VND500,000/each award, commemorated with a certificate " Typical Power Saving Family”.

To achieve the award, the prized households must save at least 10% of the total electricity consumption during June, July, August, September, October, and November over the same period in 2015. Along with the above criteria to be achieved, to win the title of "Typical Power Saving Family" the household needs to use at least 1 out of 3 recommended power-saving products: solar energized water heaters; power saving fluorescent lamps T5, T8, compact for in-house lighting systems and/or inverter air-conditioner.
At the launching ceremony, the families representing thousands of households in Phuc Yen town committed to participate in the program "Power Saving Family in 2016" by signing an agreement.
