Vietnam Scaling up Energy Efficiency for Industrial Enterprises Project - VSUEE is looking for an Energy/ Policy Expert to support project activities.

Details information:

- Position: Energy/ Policy Expert

- Number: 01

- Start date: Expected at the beginning of January 2024.

- Duration: 24 months

Requirements:

- Bachelor or higher degree in engineering, public policy, or development economics, or governance;

- At least 15 years of working experience in government agencies; familiar with development of legal document procedures;

- Solid knowledge of Vietnamese energy policy and energy efficiency in industry is a requirement;

- Solid knowledge of energy efficiency technologies and technology service providers/suppliers in the energy intensive industrial sector;

- Solid knowledge of barriers and opportunities for EE application in Vietnam;

- Good at communication, reading and writing in English;

- Experience in similar work (technical regulation development) is an asset.

Vietnam Scaling up Energy Efficiency for Industrial Enterprises Project - VSUEE funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) through the World Bank, has a total budget of 11.45 million USD. The Ministry of Industry and Trade is the project's managing agency and is responsible for overseeing the overall implementation of the project.

The project aims to promote the use of energy-saving and efficient practices in Vietnam's industrial sector, contributing to the national goals of energy conservation, energy security, and the implementation of tasks and objectives for greenhouse gas emission reduction.
