The Second International Exhibition of Energy Efficiency and Environment Hanoi (ENTECH Hanoi 2010), a large exhibition of this kind for the north will be held from May 27-30 at the Giang Vo Exhibition Center in Hanoi.

Under the theme, “Energy Efficiency and Environment, Business Efficiency, Sustainable Development”, ENTECH Hanoi 2010 is an opportunity for the business community in HanoiHanoi to access technologies for energy and energy efficiency, cleaner production and environment. The exhibition will create an environment for cooperation and exchange between suppliers of energy efficient equipment/solutions and environmental technologies to stimulate businesses to use the technologies shown at the exhibition to improve business efficiency. and domestic and foreign businesses to advertise energy efficient equipment/technology, the technology for cleaner production and environmental technology. This is also a chance for businesses in

ENTECH Hanoi 2010 will include 160-250 booths on about 15,000sq.m of 150 businesses in the areas of energy and environment including those from the Republic of Korea, Brazil and Denmark.

The booths will display products that apply the energy efficient technology, industry, transport, consultation, construction, renewable energy, coal, atom, fuel gas, gasoline, oil, energy efficient and environmentally friendly household products, energy efficient solutions/technologies that are to lower business costs, improve business efficiency and increase business competitiveness.

There will be a section for achievements in energy efficiency and communications on 136sq.m showing energy efficiency achievements and communications in 2005-2010.

Events to be launched within the framework of the exhibition will include a workshop on solutions for energy efficiency at production facilities, a workshop on solutions for energy efficient buildings, a workshop on renewal energy, new energy and environmental solutions, a contest on women who use energy efficiently, a contest for students to learn about energy efficiency, exchange/cooperation programs and signing ceremonies for contracts between domestic and foreign businesses/organizations.

The Hanoi People's Committee and the Ministry of Industry and Trade will direct and provide financial assistance for ENTECH Hanoi 2010.
