The Scottish Government is to launch a new scheme to tackle fuel poverty in the country.
The £224 million initiative will help householders by installing technologies such as insulation and heating.
The seven-year scheme will start in September and hopes to is expected to benefit tens of thousands of people in Scotland.

Three organisations – Changeworks, Energy Saving Trust and Everwarm – will form the joint venture ‘Warmworks Scotland’ as part of the initiative to help with the installations, targeting low income homes.
Mike Thornton, Energy Saving Trust Director of Government Services said: “Each customer will receive their own personal adviser and be supported through any complex issue or challenge they may face.
“This project will continue to help improve the lives of people in Scotland by making their homes warmer and more comfortable.”
