On the morning of December 9, in Hanoi, Innovation, Green Transition, and Industry Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade) organized a technical consultation meeting on the methodology for reviewing, updating, and developing new energy efficiency benchmarking for the NPK fertilizer production, seafood processing, yarn production, and textile sectors.

On the morning of February 27, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade organized the Consultation Conference on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Provisions of the Law on Energy Efficiency and Conservation in the Southern Region.

On February 26, 2025, in Da Nang, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) organized a consultation conference on the Amendment to the Law on Using Energy Efficiency and Conservation (Law on EEC).

On September 12, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with the Danish Energy Agency and the Danish Embassy, organized a technical seminar on “Consultation on industrial cooling catalogue, ventilation catalogue, heat recovery and heat pump guideline”. This seminar is part of the Energy Partnership programme between Vietnam and Denmark 2020 - 2025 (Depp3), funded by the Danish government.

Paper industry enterprises account for about 5% of total energy consumption across all industrial sectors, focusing on three key products: packaging paper, tissue paper, and uncoated printing and writing paper.

On the morning of March 19th, in Ho Chi Minh City, a technical seminar "Consultation on Energy Efficiency Boiler Catalogue and Wood Drying Guideline" was organized.

On March 14, 2022 afternoon, the consultation workshop on recommendations for the structure of and potential funding sources for an incentive scheme for the energy efficiency in the industry was held under the Vietnam - Denmark Energy Partnership Program in the period 2020-2025 (DEPP3).

A new consultation to ensure regulation in the energy industry encourages innovation has been launched.

On December 5, 2015, in Hanoi, the "Consultation Meeting for assessment and acceptance of National Target Program on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy in Hanoi in 2015 was held by the General Department of Energy in collaboration with the Hanoi Department of Industry, Trade and Energy Conservation Center.

The coal mining units will be charged the highest environmental fee of up to VND14,000/ton, an increase of VND4,000 compared with the current rate. This is the draft decree for environmental protection charges for mineral extraction which has been released by Ministry of Finance for consultation on September 4th, 2015.

The selected Enterprises for Demonstration Project will be audited on energy/ technical consultation for energy saving solution The activity is free of charge, and supported with a maximum VND 2 billion, but not exceeding 50% of total investment value of the Project.

Whichever technology is selected, there will be an extensive licensing and consultation process. This and the construction of the new facility will most likely take around 10 years, according to the NDA, which said it expects the new plant to be up and running in "the early years of the next decade".

The project “Building Energy Efficient Biogas Cellars for Families in Phu Tho Province” was very successful. It was launched by the Phu Tho Center for Industry Promotion, Consultation and Energy Conservation, within the framework of the National Targeted Program on Energy Efficiency and Conservation.
