Bao Thang Power Company (PC) (Lao Cai) held a conference to summarize results of “Power saving families 2015” on 27th January 2016. The program was organized by Bao Thang PC and other local governmental agencies in response to National Target Program for Energy Efficiency and Conservation. 

Certificates of merit given to households entitled with "Power saving family"

After being implemented, the program encouraged 1,000 families across the province to join. As a result, the district saved 630,000 KWh, equivalent to VND200 million. Also on this occasion, Lao Cai Trade and Industry Department gave certificates of merit to 20 typical power saving families in 2015. 

At the conference, Bao Thang PC discussed with customers and offered solutions to overcome obstacles in 2016. Additionally, the company also aims at increasing output to 47 million KWh and reduce electric power transmission and distribution losses from 7.38% to 6.9%.
