Vietnam was among the nations Denmark selected as strategic partners in fighting global climate change, he noted.

Dung appreciated Denmark's support for the local construction industry, especially projects involved in minimising pollution and exhaust fumes from cement production.

He said that the ministry appreciates Denmark 's support in developing coastal urban areas that can adapt to climate change, as Vietnam is among countries highly susceptible to the impacts of climate change, especially for coastal provinces and localities in the Cuu Long ( Mekong ) Delta.

Vietnam also needs Denmark ’s help in building green urban areas that meet international standards, he said.-VNA.
