Ho Chi Minh City hosts Lighting World 2012

The second lighting industry expo (Lighting World 2012 in Vietnam) opened in Ho Chi Minh City on November 29.

The second lighting industry expo (Lighting World 2012 in Vietnam) opened in Ho Chi Minh City on November 29.

Under the theme ‘The Light of the Future’, the expo has attracted 93 businesses from ten countries and territories across the world including, Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium, the USA, the Republic of Korea, Japan, China and Vietnam.

On display are a wide variety of innovative and modern illumination technologies including lighting for households, commercial buildings, industrial sites, offices, lighting for use outdoors and LED technologies.

On the occasion, seminars on the status of Vietnam’s lighting industry and the impact of, lighting electricity consumption on the Vietnamese economy and solutions for saving energy will also be held.

The annual exhibition, co-organised by the Vietnam Advertisement and Fair Exhibition Company (VIETFAIR) and the Stavis Korea Limited Company, will last through December 1.
