The marathon, held annually by Shell, is a global contest for students aged 16-25 years old. It is designed to encourage their creative spirit and give them a technical foundation for the future.

Nguyen Anh Tuyet, Shell Vietnam President, said she believes that by participating in the contest the Vietnamese young generation’s awareness of energy efficiency will grow.

She added that the contest would inspire them to work out new ideas of energy, efficient energy use and practical technology application to develop the country and respond to climate change.

This year is the first time a team from the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City will take part in the urban car category
