With the support of the Ministry of Construction, HCM City Energy Efficiency Centre has planned to open the training course of energy management for Northern businesses, buildings and hotels in Hanoi.

Participating in the course, trainees will be equipped with systematic knowledge and management skills and techniques on energy efficiency. With that knowledge, businesses will not only save costs and gain markedly economic benefits but will also be more active when the Law on Energy Efficiency and Conservation is officially enforced from 01/01/2011.

The courses are expected to take place at the beginning of October 2010 at Army Hotel - 33C Pham Ngu Lao, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi. Specifically, Energy management course for businesses will be held from 4th to 7th October 2010 and energy management course for  buildings will be held from 6th to 9th October 2010.

In four days of the course, trainees will learn about energy efficiency and energy management systems, guidance on building and deploying energy management systems; energy saving measures for each system, such as lighting systems, steam systems, industrial refrigeration systems. Especially, trainees will directly observe and learn from the experiences of enterprises which are successful in the implementation of energy efficiecy.

Each student participating in training courses will be subsidized VND1 million by the Ministry of Construction, trainees only have to pay the tuition fee of VND500,000, including fees for documents, Teabreak and transportation.
