Birmingham-based craft beer maker Attic Brew Co is one of more than 2,000 businesses being backed by a multi-million-pound scheme helping firms cut their energy usage and fuel bills.

Heineken Vietnam - Hanoi Brewery has implemented energy-saving solutions during production to enhance the competitiveness of its products.

The overall results of the simultaneous implementation of the solutions are: boiler efficiency increased from 73% to 77.36%, the amount of wood hash biomass fuel saved 993.61 tons/year, equivalent to the Cost savings is about 1,300 million VND/year, CO2 emissions are reduced by 1,440 tons/year.

The new Burton Brewery energy centre opened by Molson Coors has delivered £750,000 of cost savings in its first year of operation.
