Along with the seminar, an exhibition will take place with the participation of leading nuclear firms from Canada, the Republic of Korea, the US, Russia, Japan and France which are every experienced in the field of nuclear power, from which Vietnam hopes to find suitable partners for its nuclear power projects.

However, Dr. Vuong Huu Tan, Head of the Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety (VARANS) said these projects must be carefully considered to avoid dangerous risks as seen in Japan’s Fukushima accident in March 2011.
