The Dubai Crystal Mineral Water and Refreshments is set to upgrade its factory with leading global provider of PET solutions for liquid packaging Matrix Combi technology, for the first time in the UAE.

With energy costs rising, it's important to reduce consumption - and all Sidel Matrix equipment is designed to create significant energy savings with up to:

* 45% less power in the Ecoven of the blowers

* 15% less heating time in the blowing process compared with our previous generation of blowers

* 30% less energy used during filling by using servomotors instead of traditional drive systems

* 40% less energy consumed during labelling as all moving parts are now directly connected to the motor

Besides, due to be installed in August, Sidel Matrix Combi will help the Emirati bottler to produce PET water bottles in 330ml and 500ml formats at a speed 22,500 bottles per hour (bhp) and 1,500ml at a speed of 16,000 bhp. Apart from Matrix Combi, Dubai Crystal Mineral Water and Refreshments will integrate Sidel’s recently laun which gives added durability, stability, and overall resistance to the bottles.

It offers a more energy efficient method of production, allowing producers to achieve significant savings on energy and the amount of PET used for the overall production.

The machine offers savings in raw materials with light or ultra-lightweight bottles, as well as, reduced consumption of air, water, chemicals and energy.
