This weekend, automobile maker Jaguar introduced it’s newest supercar at the Paris Motor Show. The new concept vehicle sets new standards for green vehicles and showcases technology for the future of electric motoring.
The Jaguar C-X75 concept car is a first of it’s kind to sport both an electric powered engine in concert with a jet turbine engine, which tops out in at an impressive speed of 205 mph.

The futuristic C-X75 is capable of motoring 560 miles on a single charge which tops the current industry best now set at 100 miles. A British engineering firm is credited with the advancement in efficiency due to their gas powered jet turbine technology.
The technology designed by Shropshire headquartered firm, Bladon Jets, prolongs the range of the battery and sends extra power to the motors driving the automobile’s four wheel drive system. This enables the C-X75 to set a new industry mark for electric vehicle driving distance and all wheel performance.
Also challenging Jaguar for the attention of show participants were French automakers Citroen and Renault. Both displayed futuristic offerings such as Citroen’s fun sport concept car designed in partnership with clothing designer Lacoste. Renault also had a sporty design on display with their unique concept design, the DeZir, featuring a sleek and sexy curved body shape.
