Chương trình này nằm trong khuôn khổ hội chợ triển lãm Sản phẩm hiệu quả năng lượng (NL) và NL tái tạo 2010 (ENCON 2010), sẽ diễn ra từ ngày 25-28.11 tại Nhà thi đấu Phú Thọ, Q.11, TP.HCM. Theo thông tin công bố vào ngày 22.11 của Ban tổ chức, ENCON 2010 sẽ có nhiều nhóm sản phẩm tham gia như: thiết bị chiếu sáng, điện gia dụng, thiết bị NL tái tạo, NL sinh học.

Với đặc thù là nằm trên địa bàn TP Huế có số lượng dân cư đông, trong khi việc chăn nuôi lại thải ra nhiều chất thải có mùi hôi gây ảnh hưởng đến sức khỏe của gia đình, các hộ dân xung quanh cũng như cảnh quang môi trường, nên việc xây dựng hầm chứa biogas là một giải pháp tối ưu. Không những bảo vệ được môi trường, hệ thống hầm biogas còn giúp gia đình tiết kiệm được một khoảng chi đáng kể từ việc phải sử dụng gas, củi hoặc điện lưới.

Theo số liệu của ngành Thống kê Sóc Trăng 2010, hiện tổng đàn gia súc của tỉnh khoảng 261.000 con; tổng đàn gia cầm khoảng 4,6 triệu con. Trong đó, đàn heo khoảng 225.000 con, với khoảng 121 trang trại chăn nuôi, trong đó nuôi heo thịt gia công cho các công ty với số lượng từ 1.000 - 3.000 con có khoảng 15 trang trại tập trung chủ yếu tại huyện: Châu Thành, Kế Sách, thành phố Sóc Trăng…

People living in warm climates have been used to using biogas since ages, with even the Assyrians using it to heat their baths 3,000 years ago. But in the colder regions such as Alaska, biogas is harder to produce, since temperatures do not allow for bacteria to ferment the organic waste. However, this problem is about to fade now, as a new type of bacteria has been discovered, and it promises to cut the reliance on fossil fuels for these people big time.

The City of Toronto brought into the spotlight the latest addition to its green fleet of waste and recycling collecting service. The new garbage truck can run on converted biogas obtained from the picked up organic material waste. The new model reveals the city’s determined step toward reduction of fuel consumption, protection of air quality and health.

On November 1st, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development organized a workshop to prepare the development program for biogas. This is the “Quality and Safety Enhancement of Agricultural Products and Biogas Development Project” (QSEAP, VIE 39421), which was signed between the Government of Vietnam and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Hanoi in June 2009.

A workshop was held recently by a gas engine research team of the Da Nang University with support of Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) through the Go Green Program to assess the results of the implementation of the second stage of the project titled “Small-scaled Electricity Production from Biogas” in some provinces of central Vietnam.

Đầu tháng 10 vừa qua, Công ty ô tô Toyota Việt Nam (TMV) đã phối hợp với trường Đại học Đà Nẵng tổ chức Hội thảo “Sản xuất điện năng bằng biogas: một giải pháp tiết kiệm năng lượng và bảo vệ môi trường ở nông thôn” nhằm đánh giá kết quả sau 2 năm triển khai Dự án sản xuất điện năng qui mô nhỏ bằng Bio-gas cho các hộ dân và trang trại chăn nuôi tại các địa phương trên cả nước.

Each household taking part in the project has been provided with financial assistance worth VND1.2 million to build a biogas plant (of this sum, VND625,000 comes from the project’s budget and the remainder from the provincial budget). In places where the project was developed, people took active part in the construction of biogas plants. Before they were put into use, biogas plants were checked carefully and at the same time users were provided with detailed instructions to ensure effective and safe operation of biogas plants.

The conference is to assess the results of the phase II of the project "Production of small scale electricity from biogas" in some central provinces, conducted by the air engine researching team of the University of Da Nang (UD) with the support of Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) through the Go Green program.

“Sẽ triển khai lắp đặt thêm 500 cụm máy sản xuất điện năng bằng biogas trên toàn quốc” là số liệu được đưa ra tại Hội thảo “Sản xuất điện năng bằng biogas: giải pháp tiết kiệm năng lượng và bảo vể môi trường ở nông thôn” do Công ty ô tô Toyota Việt Nam (TMV) và Đại học Đà Nẵng phối hợp tổ chức vào sáng 3/10 tại Đà Nẵng.

Chương trình khí sinh học trong ngành chăn nuôi đang phát huy hiệu quả tại Nam Định. Theo ghi nhận của Quỹ Phát triển Hà Lan, một công trình hầm khí biogas có thể tích 9 m3, có khả năng sản sinh ra một lượng khí đốt bảo đảm đủ nhu cầu sử dụng cho một gia đình 6 người. Sử dụng hầm khí này, bên cạnh việc giải quyết vấn đề ô nhiễm môi trường trong chăn nuôi, mỗi tháng, các hộ dân tiết kiệm chi phí tương đương với giá trị 140-160 nghìn đồng.

A new hybrid gas-wind turbine called SmartGen has been designed to work on low winds based on a system that turns the turbine with compressed air from a compressor running on biogas. The Colorado company that introduces this concept is expecting to create wind turbines that generate turbines even when there is almost no wind.

The project “Building Energy Efficient Biogas Cellars for Families in Phu Tho Province” was very successful. It was launched by the Phu Tho Center for Industry Promotion, Consultation and Energy Conservation, within the framework of the National Targeted Program on Energy Efficiency and Conservation.

Dự án “ Xây dựng mô hình hầm khí Biogas tiết kiệm năng lượng(TKNL) sử dụng cho hộ gia đình trên địa bàn tỉnh Phú Thọ” do Trung tâm Khuyến công, tư vấn và TKNL Phú Thọ triển khai thuộc Chương trình mục tiêu quốc gia về sử dụng năng lượng tiết kiệm và hiệu quả, bước đầu đã đem lại những thành công đáng khích lệ. Dự án hoàn thành không chỉ giúp người dân giải quyết vấn đề chất đốt, TKNL, giảm bớt khó khăn cho người dân mà còn góp phần quan trọng giải quyết vấn đề môi trường cho khu vực nông thôn.

The use of conventional energy such as fuel-wood and charcoal in rural and mountainous areas in our country has reduced the forest area and increased the amount of CO2 emission. Meanwhile, modern energies like electricity, gasoline, petroleum are becoming more and more costly, unaffordable for people in remote areas. A positive solution is to use biogas – an in-place and cheap energy source for farmers.
